Happy 1st Birthday, Mallory!

Happy 1st birthday, sweet Mallory! We can not believe it's been a year since you were born. Your first year has gone by so quickly! We can't remember life before you! ha There are no words to describe how much we love you and enjoy your sweet smiles and jabber! You have brought us so much joy and happiness in the last 365 days!

You weigh 26 pounds and are 31 inches long. You are only taking a bottle at night now. You are eating just about anything (even tried a sardine that Grandma was eating the other night...yuck!) Your favorites are blueberries, stawberries, sweet potatoes, carrots, and anything any adult is eating.........ha. You think you can eat off of everyone's plate (even at church gatherings!) You still aren't sleeping through the night, but have recently been doing some better. You began walking a few weeks ago and are into e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g! You rarely crawl much anymore. You can say a lot words: ball, bow, dada, wawa(water,) cup, drop, uh(you leave off the "oh" part,) Granddaddy, dog, and no. You will say "no" to any question we ask. Are you going to sleep good tonight? "no" Do you love Mama? "no" We love to hear your sweet voice!

This past year has been great! We are so blessed to be your parents and look forward to watching you grow and do great things. Happy birthday, baby girl! We love you, Mallory!

Mommy's Helper!

You have toys all over the house in every room, but you still love playing in the cabinets with pots and pans! We fixed you a draw in the kitchen with plastic bowls and lids and you love to play with those, but lately have started getting into the cabinets! You are one busy girl!

A DaY with DaDdY!

We went to see Daddy at work today. He was picking cotton at Jim Preutts. He's been wanting you to come ride with him for a long time! You loved the tractor. You watched everything that was going on. Lauren and Cohen enjoyed visiting with you, too! I think you made Daddy's day by "helping" him pick cotton!

They were building a cotton module behind Daddy, and you were very interested in watching that and would not look at the camera!

Sweet Lauren!

Daddy's tractor was the most popular. We were all crammed in and enjoying the ride!

Granddaddy's got the touch...

Daddy went deep-sea fishing while we were in Florida, and caught a lot of fish. We had a fish-fry tonight with friends and family. You were so tired, but refused to go to sleep (you know, cause you might miss something! ha!) Well, once Granddaddy got you, you finally gave it up. Granddaddy has got the touch when it comes to you! You and Granddaddy have a special bond (he kept you when I went back to work and you were so tiny - you were only 2 months old!) I'm thankful that ya'll have such a sweet bond and pray that you'll always be close! He loves you so and call's you "Granddaddy's little buddy!" You have the best grandparents a girl could ask for - you are one blessed little girl!

Our lil'cowgirl!

We bought this outfit for you last summer on vaction before you were born. We had just found out you were a girl ( I was 5 months pregnant ) and we were tickled to death! Your Daddy saw this in a little boutique in St. Augstine and thought you just had to have it! I can remember thinking it would be so long before you could wear it, and look at you now!! You have grown so fast. We are so thankful that you are growing and developing as you should, but it just seems to be happening too fast! You will always be our baby girl, no matter how big you are! We love you, Mal-Mal!
