Let the decorating begin!

I have searched and searched for the perfect bedding to go in your bedroom. I ordered a set online and wasn't pleased when it arrived. I've looked at catalogs and stores and didn't have any luck until Stephanie, Kaylie, and I went shopping at a new store in Birmingham called Buy Buy Baby. We found some cute things including bedding for your room. It's pink, green, and brown with stripes and polka dots. I think it's going to be perfect. We couldn't wait to get it home and put it on your crib.

You can't really tell much about it in the picture, but it looked great! I can't wait to get things up on the walls and get everything ready for you.

Happy Retirement, Granddaddy!

We celebrated Granddaddy's retirement today. I am thrilled that he's retiring before you are born. He is going to keep you when I go back to work. I will miss you so bad, but I'm beyond thankful that you'll be in great "hands" with Granddaddy! You are one lucky girl to get to spend your days with Granddaddy. He'll have you spoiled rotten!

Crib time!

We ordered your crib from JCPenny.com. Since we ordered it online we weren't able to look at it in person. It arrived while we were on vacation. I was so excited to get home and check it out. We called Granddaddy and he helped us load it up and put it together. I don't know what we'd do without Granddaddy!!

Daddy and Granddaddy worked hard putting everything together. Thankfully I loved the way it looked. It turns into a toddler bed and then a twin bed, so you'll have this bed for a long time.

Even cousin Regan helped. Everyone is so excited about you!

Ta-da! All done. Granddaddy, Daddy, and Regan did a great job putting your crib together. Grandma and I supervised!

Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated the 4th by going to Rusty Stephen's house on Camp Mac to watch the fireworks with Steph, Duane, Kaylie, and Regan. It was a nice show. You would kick and move when the fireworks got loud. I enjoy feeling you move. You move the most at night when I'm trying to go to sleep!!
