MES Shower
Today my friends at school showered me with gifts for you! I got so many nice things. It was fun opening each gift and imagining how you would use it or what you would look like wearing it. I can't wait for you to get here so you can enjoy all the nice things you've gotten! I don't know where I'm going to put everything. We have baby stuff all over the house! Maybe it will all be organized and put away by the time you arrive!

Happy Birthday, Grandma and Granddaddy!
Grandma and Granddaddy turned 60 this year. We gave them a surprise birthday party. Friends and family came to help us celebrate. All of our family was there except for Uncle Heath. He had a football meeting. It was nice to visit and enjoy refreshments with everyone. Grandma and Granddaddy are so unselfish and always doing for everyone else. I'm glad we were able to do something to honor them. They deserve it (and so much more!)
Grandma and Granddaddy were the best parents. They loved us so much and would do ANYTHING for us no matter what! I pray that I'll be as good of a parent to you as they were to me and Uncle Wyatt and Uncle Heath. You are one lucky girl to have them as your grandparents!

Cowgirl Cookies!
Robin, Steph, and I made "cowgirl cookies" as party favors for the couple shower. They turned out so cute. Regan made them, and they tasted delicious. I only had a bite since I'm not suppose to eat sweets. I'm anxious to see if you'll like sweets since I've not eaten many. If you are anything like your daddy you'll LOVE sweet tarts and milk shakes!

Our lil'cowgirl!
My precious friends, Stephanie and Robin, gave me a couple's shower in your honor. We invited our close friends and their families to come and celebrate your upcoming arrival. I don't know what I'd do without Steph and Robin. They are getting me through each step of my pregnancy!
Me and Stephanie
Stephanie's mom and dad were gracious enough to host the shower at their house. They have a beautiful home. I loved the cow balloon and sweet sign welcoming you! The decorations were precious, and the food was delicious!

Steph's mom and dad opened their pool to those that wanted to swim. Your dad was the only adult to jump in - which didn't surprise anyone because he's a really "big" kid himself. You are going to have so much fun playing with him when you get bigger. He talks all the time about the things he wants to do with you when you get older. He's looking forward to taking you on the farm, riding you on the tractor, and getting you as dirty as possible!! I'm sure there will be several hose pipe "washoffs" in your future!

What a sweet face!!
You have been growing in my belly for 32 weeks today. Because of my gestational diabetes, I have to begin going to the doctor twice a week now to make sure you are okay. When I go to the specialist they do a sonogram and I get to see you move. It is so neat. I love to see and hear your heartbeat. While I was having my sonogram today you had the hiccups. (You get those a lot!) I could feel you hiccuping in my belly, and I could see you "jump" on the screen. It was so cool! The best part of the whole visit (other than us finding out that you look great and everything is fine) was when we got to see your sweet face! They were able to take a picture of you while you're still in my belly! You look so much like your daddy in your picture!
I have been feeling you move for a while now and that is awesome, but it was so amazing to see you for the first time today. I stared at your picture all the way home. I can't wait to meet you in person and kiss your sweet checks! I had to share the picture below. You were sucking your thumb! I'm so glad they were able to capture this sweet moment.

A Shower of Love!
We were given a shower for you today at church. There were lots of people and tons of gifts. I didn't have much time to talk to everyone because I spent the entire time opening your new things. We had baby stuff everywhere. It was so much fun!
Robin wrote down all the gifts that you got. The picture below is so special because Robin and I have have done this for each other at our bridal showers and (now) baby showers. It brings back great memories. I was glad she was right beside me as I opened each gift. She explained some of the gifts (because she's been a mommy for awhile) and always had a funny comment to make me smile. I love Robin so much, and can't wait for you to meet her one day!
I had some great helpers during the shower. They brought me gifts to open, helped with trash, and displayed your gifts so everyone could see them. They did a great job!
Helpers -Kaylie, Halaya, & Regan
Lots of family and friends came to the shower. Your cousins Andie and Parker Lynn were there with their mommies. You will have fun playing with them once you are here and get bigger!
Daddy came to see all the gifts you got and load them up to take home. I was so excited to show him everything. I can't wait to get it all washed, organized, and put away. Once that's done all that'll be left is waiting on you to arrive! We have prayed and prayed for that day and can't wait to meet you!
