CoW GiRl!
Your Daddy LOVES cows. Everyone knows that, so you got several outfits with cows or a farm theme. (I almost let you outgrow the outfit pictured below. It "just" fits you, so I'm not sure how much longer you'll be able to wear it!) Unlce Buddy and Aunt Sandy got you a stuffed cow for Christmas. We thought you needed to take a picture with it while you had on your cow outfit. It was hard to get a great picture since you can't sit up good yet. They turned out a little better than I expected. It kinda looks like you are riding the cow.
Daddy loved you in this outift. He says you are his little "cow girl." He has big plans for you when you get bigger. I see many trips to the pasture in your future! (Daddy better not let you ride a real cow!!!)

GriNs and GigGleS!
Such a BiG girl!
You have outgrown your bath sling! Now you can sit up in your tub like a big girl. You are growing so much and changing everyday. Tonight was the first time you took a bath without your sling. It was bittersweet for me and Daddy. You are growing up WAY too fast!

PlAy TiMe!
You are becoming more and more alert everyday. You will follow a toy with your eyes and smile and make sweet baby sounds. We love playing with you and introducing you to all your new toys. A student from last year gave you the toy in the pictures below. I thought it'd be neat to take a picture of you with the toy and send it in our thank you note (yes, I'm that late with some of my thank you notes - you've kept me very busy!!) The pictures turned out so cute, I had to blog about them. The toy lit up and played music. You loved looking at the wings and listening to it's music. I think it's going to be one of your favorite toys!

Merry 1st Christmas and Snow
Merry Christmas, Mallory!! Today we celebrated your first Christmas. Santa came to visit, and we all got a treat that is very rare - it snowed!!! You had your first snow on your first Christmas. I can not remember it ever snowing on Christmas before. It was beautiful. I loved being cuddled up in the chair, holding you while you slept (which is what you did most of the day - maybe you'll be more into it next year,) and watching it snow. We spent our day with family, opened presents, and enjoyed the snow, but our best present this year has been you. I still have to "pinch" myself sometimes to know that you're really ours. We thank God for blessing us with such a sweet, beautiful baby girl! We are so lucky to be your mommy and daddy!
It's beginning to snow:

1st visit to church!
You did great your first time at church. You did have some gas right towards the end of the service. Your dad was very proud of you (because it was so loud.) I believe he said, "that's my girl!" Alex was sitting by you and he thought it was funny. Everyone was happy to see you and meet you for the first time.

1st Shopping Trip!
They have just opened a new shopping outlet mall in Leeds, and Granddaddy and I decided to check it out (I was ready to get out of the house for a little bit.) You were very good while we shopped. I think you are going to be a great shopper one day (don't tell Daddy I said that! ha) Your Granddaddy and Grandma are excellent shoppers (and bargain finders) so you'll learn from the pros since you'll be staying with them while Mommy is at work!
1 month old!!
You are one month old today. I can not believe how fast you are growing. You are wearing a size one diaper now!! Newborn size clothes are getting snug, so you mostly wear 0-3 month. You are waking up for longer periods of time during the day and seem to be more alert. You still do not sleep through the night. You wake up 2-3 times to eat and usually go back to sleep. We enjoy you more and more everyday. You are our dream come true!!
