My first blog!

I am beginning this blog to serve as a scrapbook. A place were I can record the special moments shared by our family. Clay and I have been married for almost 2 years. We found out several weeks ago that we are expecting a baby, and we are beyond excited! This blog will document all the experiences we'll share as a family. Each post will be written to you, our baby! We hope that you'll enjoy reading each entry one day as we celebrate your life and remember each step along the way!

You have been growing in my belly for 19 weeks. We went to the doctor today and found out that you are a girl!!! Clay and I are thrilled! We can not wait to meet you and hold you and kiss you - our sweet baby girl! They were able to capture your precious little profile during the sonogram. You have the sweetest little nose and lips. We pray that you continue to grow and develop as you should. We can not wait to become your parents. God is creating you now, and we are so glad that he picked us to be your parents!!





We stopped by the mall on our way home and bought you an outfit. Grandma and Granddaddy went with us, and they bought you a dress too! I look forward to many shopping trips with you one day! I think dad is a little worried that he might have to go shopping more than he'd like once you get older!!
